The N/SVQ level 4 qualification is for technical people working at a senior level in a wide range of job roles. These include people such as senior estimators, senior quantity surveyors, senior buyers and senior planners. These people will have responsibility for other people in their occupation and clearly be decision makers.
This award covers all sections of the construction cycle. It includes maintenance and demolition, and companies specialising in a single operation such as roofing, shop fitting, plastering etc.
The award has been developed by practising technicians supported by the relevant professional institutions, employer bodies, the Construction Industry Council and CITB-ConstructionSkills.
The qualification has been designed to be used across the UK.
