Planning Lifting Operations: Level 3
The Level 3 Planning Lifting Operations NVQ provides the opportunity for operatives who specialise in the planning and supervision of lifting operations, to demonstrate their competence in the National Occupational Standards (NOS), as defined by ConstructionSkills. The NOS offer the opportunity to demonstrate competence across various plant in a number of environments.
The level 3 Planning Lifting Operations may provide a progression route for holders of the level 2 Plant Operations for which there is no defined level 3 qualification.
The qualification will provide evidence of competence in an area that is essential to the safe operation of construction sites and warehousing operations and which has had no defined national standards to date.
